About the Author
Based in the Pacific Northwest, award-winning author William Holmgren is also a multifaceted fine artist.
A pause in his tech career led him to pursue his dream as a screenwriter with feature film scripts. Initially, with "The Mona Lisa" and most recently, "Flamingo Grove." His recent book, Behind Her Smile, is historical fiction based on actual events and timeline of famed Renaissance man Leonardo da Vinci and the creation of the Mona Lisa oil painting. With a passion for storytelling, art, and history, William majored in Art from Seattle Pacific University. Born in the San Francisco Bay Area and growing up in Kirkland, WA, he resides in the Columbia Valley region of Washington State with his family and dog Indy. When he's not immersed in his creative pursuits, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, being outdoors, and perusing art galleries and antique stores. EDUCATION
